In recent works, the photographic process itself has become the focus of my interest. Leaving all kinds of photographic apparatus aside, I started working directly on light sensitive material: analogue photo paper, 4x5 inch negatives and lately also cyanotypes. By examining the relationship between reality and its pictorial representation I try to explore the essence of photographic image depiction. Although the photographic process itself seems fairly simple in nature, for me photographs still radiate something magical, something far beyond our grasp.
