Lounge Usage Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Purpose
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Lounge space (hereinafter referred to as “the Lounge”) provided by KIKA contemporary art space (hereinafter referred to as “KIKA cas”).

Article 2: Eligibility for Use
Generally only KIKA members are eligible for access to the Lounge. Members may invite guests, but are responsible for their guests' actions.

Article 3: Categories for Usage
The Lounge may be used for these categories as follows:

1. Library Use (Shared): For reading, research, and quiet work
2. Private Use (Block Reservation): For meetings and small gatherings
3. Event Use (Block Reservation): For book clubs, panel events, and lectures

Article 4: Adjustment of Usage
KIKA cas reserves the right to change any categories for usage or access policies if needed for operation.

Article 5: Usage Fee
Usage fees are determined by KIKA cas based on usage category, number of people, time, and other conditions. Benefits or discounts may apply depending on membership type. Pricing may change without notice.

Article 6: Usage Hours
Available hours are within the business hours specified by KIKA cas. Usage time includes set-up and clean-up and will generally be charged in one-hour increments. Extensions may be possible depending on that day's reservation availability.

Article 7: Reservation and Payment
Members must make a reservation to use the Lounge. Users shall make reservations and payments using the method specified by KIKA cas. Though there is no cancellation fee for the Lounge, members must promptly notify KIKA cas should they need to cancel.

Article 8: Prohibited Activities
When using the facility, the following are prohibited:
Acts that interfere with other users or facility operations Improper use of materials, equipment, or space
Unauthorized photography, recording, streaming, or commercial activities
Acts that violate laws, public order and morals, or KIKA cas policies

Article 9: Handling of Materials
All books and documents from the Lounge must remain in the building. Viewing and handling valuable materials in the Lounge shall be conducted in accordance with KIKA cas guidelines. Users may be held liable for reimbursement in the event of any damage or loss to said materials.

Article 10: Termination of Services
KIKA cas reserves the right to terminate any accounts or request that members or guests leave without prior notice if any terms and conditions are violated, or if deemed necessary for operation or safety.

Article 11: Disclaimer
KIKA cas is not responsible for any disputes between users. Users are responsible in managing their valuables and personal belongings. The same applies to cases where the Lounge service cannot be used due to natural disasters, equipment failure, and other situations that constitute force majeure.

Article 12: Updates in Terms of Service
These terms are subject to change as needed.
